O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 03.10.2024 and pass appropriate orders.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he is the ardent devotee of A/M Dharamalingeshwarar Swami Thirukovil and he submitted various representation before the respondents mentioning irregular administration of the temple. The last of the representation was submitted before the first respondent on 03.10.2024 mentioning various irregularities and the same has not been considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Mr.K.Karthikeyan, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on its own merits and appropriate orders will be passed. 2/5

In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the first respondent to forward the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 03.10.2024 to the Joint Commissioner / second respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this Order. The second respondent shall consider the same and pass final orders, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and other interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of representation from the first respondent.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
