ORDER

The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to transfer the petitioner from the 6th respondent Central Prison to the 7th respondent Central Prison 2.

The petitioner seeks direction to the respondents to transfer him from one prison to another prison. Now, almost two years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh representation to the official concerned, if so advised.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
