ORDER
(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.K.Thiruvengadam, learned counsel for the petitioner; and, Mr.K.Karthik Jagannath, learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 and 2.
2. Learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submits that the encroachers have been identified. Notices under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 [for short, "the Act of 1905"] were issued soliciting reply and, thereafter, order under Section 6 of the Act of 1905 has been issued on 03.01.2024.
The eviction is scheduled on
08.02.2024.
3. In view of the said statement made, we are not required to pass any order in the present writ petition. The writ petition, as such, is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
