Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the order of the 1st respondent in No.247 of 2003 dated 25.03.2004 and quash the same as illegal, void and utravires and direct the 1st respondent to take appropriate action against the 2nd respondent in respect of the illegal construction in RS.No.517 of 2015 of Andicode Village, Kanyakumari District in accordance with law.

ORDER

Today, when the writ petition was taken up for hearing, M/s D.Rajagopal & S.Annamalai, learned counsel representing the petitioner's counsel submitted that the petitioner is no more and they are unable to get the details about the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner. Since the details of the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner could not be obtained despite the counsel's best efforts, this Court has no other option except to dismiss the matter as 'abated'. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as abated. No costs.
