O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to provide legible clean copies of the documents viz., 1) Registration Certificate,

2) Insurance Certificate, 3)Driving License, 4) M.V.I. Report and 5) Sketch connected in Crime No. 477 of 2018.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's father Pannerselvam met with a road accident and sustained multiple injuries and unable to move and he is bedridden. On the date of the accident the 3rd respondent had registered FIR in Crime No.477 of 2018. In order to file the claim petition, the petitioner approached the 3rd respondent seeking copies of Vehicle Registration Certificate, Insurance Certificate, Driving License, M.V.I. Report and Sketch and he was asked to download the same from the official website. When the same were downloaded, the quality of the said copies are not legible. The petitioner once again approached the third respondent, however, he could not get the clean copies of the said documents. Hence, this writ petition.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue direction to the third respondent to issue legible clean copies of the documents, Registration Certificate, Insurance Certificate, Driving License, M.V.I. Report and Sketch connected with Crime No.477 of 2018.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions, submitted that the legible clean copies of the said documents would be furnished to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
