When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner on instructions submitted that the entire amount with regard to terminal benefits viz., pension, gratuity and other retirement benefits have already been paid to the petitioner, as per the decision taken by the Board. Therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition and accordingly, the same stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
