The petitioner is called absent. The prayer of the petitioner is for consideration of his representation dated 22.04.2019 in light of the recommendation made by the second respondent, i.e., Tamil Development Director on 20.08.2019.

2. In the representation he seeks issuance of free bus pass to him, as he is an awardee of the Tamil Semmal Award by the Tamil Nadu Government.

The purpose of this Writ Petition stands achieved in light of paragraph 4 of the counter reading as follows:- "4) Regarding the averments made in paragraph 6 of the affidavit, it is submitted that orders were issued vide G.O (Ms) No.124 Tamil Development and Information Department, dated 22.12.2020 by permitting to avail free bus pass for 228 awardees including the petitioner Thiru.S.Syed Khalifa Sahib. The petitioner name has been mentioned in the serail No.195 of the annexure of that Government Order. The above position has been communicated vide Government Letter No.18078/TD1.2/2020,TD&I department, dated 19.08.2021 by speed post to the petitioner. Hence it is humbly submitted that the prayer of the petitioner was complied with and his representation was also disposed off."

4. Recording the aforesaid, this writ petition is closed. No Costs.
