ORDER
[Order of this Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J.] The writ petition has been filed for Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.11.2019 within the time frame.
2.In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, it is averred that the petitioner is the resident of Nagore, Nagappattinam and he has involved in social welfare and social activities. While so, some political and religious persons are frequently putting banners without obtaining proper permission from the Nagapattinam Municipality, the second respondent 1/2 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
herein. In this regard, the petitioner has made a representation to the second respondent on 10.11.2019. As the second respondent has not taken any action against the illegal banner, the petitioner is before this Court seeking the above prayer. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
4. Taking note of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, directs the petitioner to give fresh copy of the representation within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to consider and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks thereafter, by affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner.
5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
