The petitioner seeks a decree for permanent injunction under Article

227. The prayer sought for is for a mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 to direct respondents 6 & 7 to remove the generator installed by them.

2. The relief sought for is against individuals and there is no statutory duty cast upon the Official respondents to enable this Court to issue a mandamus. Hence, we see no merit in the Writ Petition. This Writ Petition is therefore, dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
