ORDER

Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the Respondents.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider my representation dated 09.09.2024 to issue Patta.

3. The grievance of the Petitioners is that the Petitioners have been engaged in the agricultural activities for several decades in the property comprised in old Survey Number 86 and New Survey Number 93 measuring to an extent of 9 Acre 1 Cents vide its paimash number 361, 126, 141, 143, 144 to 148.

4. The learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that though the Petitioners have made several representations to the Respondents for grant of Patta, the Respondents have not considered the same to date. Aggrieved by the same, the Petitioner is before this Court.

5. Heard the counsel on either side.

6. Since the subject property in question are "reserve forest land" the assignment of Patta cannot be granted to the Petitioners. Under these circumstances, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
