ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondent to make payment of all arrears of pay and other allowances payable for the period from 01.01.2006 to 27.07.2019 along with interest at the 12% annum payable on account of death of her husband (late) Mr.M. Rajakumar, Depot Manager, who died on 27.07.2019 while in service, pursuance to the petitioner's representation dated 21.07.2023, within time fame as may be fixed by this Honourable Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 21.07.2023 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
