Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents 1 to 3 to implement the direction of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Attur in Na.Ka.4015/2016, dated 26.09.2016 and for consequential order.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to implement the direction of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Attur, by an order dated 26.09.2016, thereby directing the third respondent to provide necessary police protection to fence his property, comprised in Survey No.299/1.

It is seen that the petitioner is the owner of the property comprised in Survey No.299/1, situated at Navakurichi Village, Attur, Salem to an extent of 1.51.50 hectares. While being so, the adjacent land owners had tried to interfere with the petitioner's property. Hence, the petitioner filed a suit in O.S.No.214 of 2016 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Attur and obtained permanent injunction. the Thasildhar and the Revenue Divisional Officer had affirmed the petitioner's right over the property and directed the third respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner to put up fence in his property.

Considering the above facts and circumstances, the third respondent is directed to take appropriate action on the direction issued by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Attur. 4.

With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
