This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to send a communication to the second respondent regarding defreeze of the petitioner's Account maintained in the Kotak Mahindra Bank.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that earlier the Account of the petitioner was freezed vide communication dated 04.09.2020 sent by the respondent police to the Kotak Mahindra Bank. On completion of investigation, Notice Ref. No.C. No.766 of 2023 dated 05.06.2023 was sent to the Bank to defreeze the Account and the same has been given effect. A copy of the communication from the Kotak Mahindra Bank regarding the receipt of the letter to defreeze the Account of the petitioner also furnished.
3. In view of the subsequent development in this case, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. 14.12.2023 Index : Yes/No rkp 2/4
