ORDER

This writ petition is taken up and disposed of at the admission stage. 1/4

2. Mr.K.Venkatesan, the learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondent.

3. The case of the petitioner is that her name is "Mazhar Bee". However, while entering it into the records, the name was wrongly entered as "Madan Bee". As such she is praying to correct the name and to give her the benefits.

4. Though, it can be seen that it is not the mistake of the Provident Fund Authorities and the mistake that is committed while entering the name by the management. The very existence of the Provident Fund is for the benefit of the workman and such kind of innocuous mistakes happen and the respondent shall also empathetically consider and immediately resolve the said issue by correcting the name of the petitioner.

5. The primary aim of the Employment Provident Fund Organization is to disburse the benefits to the workman. Therefore, the respondent is directed to consider the claim of the workman and correct the name in the manner 2/4

known to law. The same shall be considered within four weeks from the date of production of the uploaded order copy of this Court. The petitioner will be entitled to forward the website uploaded order copy of this Court to the respondent and they shall act upon the same without waiting for the certified copy and pass orders.

6. With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
