This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to accord police protection to prevent any injury being caused to the petitioner and property and to enable the petitioner to enter and carry out agricultural activities in his land situated at S.No.298/1, Aranganoor Taluk measuring 0.81.50 hectares.

2. Heard Mr.B.Ravi, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 3.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 to 3 submitted that a decision will be taken on the petitioner's representation dated 02.08.2023 at the earliest. 2/4

4. In view of the submission made by learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the third respondent to take a decision on the petitioner's representation dated 02.08.2023 within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
