PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.08.2024 requesting the 3rd respondent taking into account the Act No.40 of 2010 and also the G.O.Ms.No.145 Personnel & Administrative Reforms (S) Department dated 30.09.2010 for the selection of the post of Animal Husbandry Assistant and dispose of the same and pass orders. 1/5

ORDER

By consent of learned counsel on either side, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. This petition is filed seeking a direction directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.08.2024 requesting the 3rd respondent taking into account the Act No.40 of 2010 and also the G.O.Ms.No.145 Personnel & Administrative Reforms (S) Department dated 30.09.2010 for the selection of the post of Animal Husbandry Assistant and dispose of the same and pass orders.

3. The facts of the case is that the petitioner had applied for the post of Animal Husbandry Assistant and she has been called to participate in the interview. Thereafter, she attended the interview and produced al the relevant certificates, Employment Registration Card etc. Pursuant to which the petitioner made a representation to the 3rd respondent on 2/5

07.08.2024 requesting the petitioner to consider the Act No.40 of 2010 and also the G.O.Ms.No.145 Personnel & Administrative Reforms (S) Department dated 30.09.2010 and G.O.Ms.No.40 Personnel & Administrative Reforms (S) Department dated 30.04.2014 while selecting the candidates for the post of Animal Husbandry Assistant. However, there was no progress in the representation made by the petitioner till date. Hence, this petition.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 07.08.2024 and pass orders.

5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that they will consider the case of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without expressing 3/5

any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider he petitioner's representation dated 07.08.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above observations this writ petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs.
