ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.09.2024.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner has given a representation dated 13.09.2024 requesting the respondents to drop the plan of acquiring the petitioners land situated at No.51, plasma village, Vellore Road, Pallikonda, Vellore District-635 809. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this petition.
3. In reply, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation will be disposed of by the District Revenue Officer, Krishnagiri, within a period of 8 weeks.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.
5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the District Revenue Officer, Krishnagiri District, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.09.2024 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
