Petitioner/A1 in Crime No.489 of 2023 registered under Sections 3(2)(a), 3(2)(b), 4(1), 5(1)(a) of Immoral Traffic Prevention Act and Section 370 IPC, seeks anticipatory bail 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent. 3.It is stated that the respondent searched PM lodge at Velankanni and found two victim women being used for prostitution. They had been rescued and sent to home. A2 is the Manager of the lodge and he had been arrested. The present petitioner/A1 is the lessee of the lodge. The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner was not aware of the nature of activities in the lodge. But, if he had not appointed A2 as a Manager the entire offence would not have happened. Further he had also received money from those who occupied the rooms.

If that particular room is used for unlawful and illegal purposes, then directly he stood to gain from permitting unlawful activities being conducted in the lodge in which he is the lessee. In view of these facts, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail. Petition stands dismissed. 08.12.2023 kp C.V.KARTHIKEYAN , J.
