ORDER

Writ petition has been filed in the nature of a certiorarified mandamus seeking records of the third respondent dated 19.01.2017 and consequential proceedings of the second respondent dated 06.06.2017 and quash both the said proceedings and direct the said respondents to prepare a fresh panel for appointment of Assistant Accounts Officer in Clause IV of Tamil Nadu State Treasuries and Accounts Service Department for the period 2016 - 2017.

Though the prayer is too complicated, in effect, the petitioner sought promotion to the post of Assistant Accounts Officer in Clause IV in Tamil Nadu State Treasuries and Accounts Service Department.

Learned counsel for the petitioner stated that pending writ petition, the petitioner has actually been promoted on 04.09.2018.

In view of that particular fact, the issue raised in the writ petition has become infructuous and the same is dismissed. No costs.
