This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to take the Second Appeal on list and dispose it within the time limit.

3 W.P.No.36243 of 2024

2. In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, it had been contended that the petitioner had filed a Second Appeal before the respondent on 22.05.2024. The entire issue was under the Right to Information Act. Let me not enter into the discussion on merits since the Second Appeal is now under the consideration of the first respondent/The State Information Commissioner, Chennai. However, the grievance of the petitioner that no action had been taken on the Second Appeal filed by him had been addressed since it is stated that it had been numbered as S.A.No.15711/D/2024.

3. The first respondent may examine the same and pass appropriate orders within a reasonable period of time in accordance with seniority of the pending second appeal list.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 16.12.2024 Index:Yes/No
