ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.08.2024.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner has given a representation dated 19.08.2024 to direct the second respondent to renew the lease period in favour of the petitioner and further direct the first respondent to issue proper order for the purpose of renewal lease of land in favour of the petitioner for the premises situated at No.111, Habibullah Road, T.Nagar, Chennai. However, the said representation was not considered by the respondents, as on date. Hence, this petition.

3. In reply, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 19.08.2024 will be disposed of as expeditiously as possible.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 19.08.2024, as expeditiously as possible, in terms of agreed terms to the parties and subject to the payment of entire lease rent, if any payable by the petitioner upto date.
