The civil revision petition seeks for expeditious disposal of I.A.No.5 of 2022 in F.C.O.P.No.43 of 2021 on the file of the learned 1/4

Family Judge, Erode.

2. When the matter came up for admission on 16.12.2024, I called for a report from the learned Family Judge, Erode to state as to how long she requires to dispose of I.A.No.5 of 2022 in F.C.O.P.No.43 of 2021.

3. The learned Family Judge, Erode has sent a report stating that the respondent/husband filed F.C.O.P.No.43 of 2021 seeking for divorce. The said FCOP has been adjourned for several hearings for non-appearance of the parties. I.A.No.5 of 2022 has been filed by the wife seeking for interim maintenance. The report further states that I.A.Nos.14 to 16 of 2023 were also filed by both the parties and all those applications are pending. Both the parties had filed several interlocutory applications and hence, the learned Judge could not dispose of I.A.No.5 of 2022. Therefore, she requests six months time to dispose of I.A.No.5 of 2022.

4. Taking into consideration the report of the learned Trial Judge, there shall be a direction to the learned Family Judge at Erode to dispose of I.A.Nos.5 of 2022 & I.A.Nos.14 to 16 of 2023 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
