ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to furnish First Information Report, R.C.Book, Driving License, Insurance Policy and Accident Register based on the petitioner's representation dated 29.11.2019.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's brother met with an accident and he sustained severe injuries. An F.I.R was also registered by the respondent police in this regard. The petitioner wants to file a Motor Accident Claims Petition for his brother and therefore, he is in need of certain documents in order to proceed further with the case. The complaint of the petitioner is that these documents have not been furnished by the respondent police and therefore, the petitioner is not in a position to file a claim petition before the Tribunal.

3. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to issue copies for First Information Report, Driving License, Insurance Policy and R.C.Book to the petitioner within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
