Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation in respect of executing the sale deed in respect of property situated in Plot No.22, D.No.8/15, Ambedkar Street, Tamilar Nagar, Shanoy Nagar, Chennai - 30 in her favour as well as my sister Mrs.R.Amutha within time frame.

The petitioner L.Muneeswari and L.Amutha her sister are the daughters of late Thavamani and G.Durairaj. Thavamani died on 31.12.2003, thereafter, both the petitioner and her sister were granted a legal heirship certificate by the Tahsildar, Egmore Taluk on 13.02.2004. There is a plot alloted by the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board. It was subsequently alloted in the names of the petitioner and her sister. After the death of their mother, unfortunately, it is the grievance of the petitioner that only her sister name was found in the sale deed, issued by the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board. Consequently, the petitioner had given a representation dated 26.11.2019 seeking inclusion of her name in the sale deed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

along with her sister L.Amutha. It appears that the respondents have received an earlier representation on 19.11.2019 and has called upon the petitioner to appear in person and substantiate her claim with respondents.

2. Ms.D.Latha, takes notice for Respondents.

It is stated by the learned counsel for the respondents that the representation of the petitioner was received only recently and the petitioner should substantiate her claim by documents which are necessary and relevant. The petitioner may, therefore, appear before the Office of the second respondent on 26.12.2019 and if necessary, again on 27.12.2019 between 11.00 am and 1.00 pm and thereafter, after making further enquiries, the second respondent may pass an order in accordance with the rules and in accordance with the law on or before 21.01.2020 and thereafter, the first respondent may also pass consequential orders within a reasonable time, if the papers are in order.

4. With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
