ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.R.Sankarasubbu, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mrs.N.Mala, learned Additional Government Pleader (Pondy) for the first respondent and Mr.Thomas T.Jacob, learned counsel for the second respondent.

2. The petitioner has preferred a petition under Section 42 of the Puducherry Town and Country Planning Act, 1969 on 24.3.2017 to the first respondent. The prayer of the petitioner is that the first respondent be directed to dispose of the said petition expeditiously.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader (Pondy) representing the first respondent states that the said petition will be disposed of in accordance with law within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The said statement is recorded.

In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader (Pondy), no further orders are necessary in this petition and same is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
