ORDER
This writ petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 21.09.2023 for exchange of patta land in Survey Nos.66/2 and 66/3, now T.S.Nos.27/1 and 27/2, Jagir Ammapalayam Village, Salem District, with adjacent Government land in Survey No.66/1, T.S.No.27/3, in accordance with G.O.(Ms)No.201, Revenue Department, dated 10.05.2022.
2. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner made a representation dated 21.09.2023, before the first respondent for the exchange of the patta land in S.Nos.66/2 and 66/3, now T.S.Nos.27/1 and 27/2, Jagir Ammapalayam Village, Salem District 2/6
with the adjacent Government land in S.No.66/1, T.S.No.27/3, in accordance with G.O.(Ms) No.201, Revenue Department, dated 10.05.2022. The first respondent forwarded the said representation to the second respondent for appropriate action. However, the same was not considered, till date. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.

Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the second respondent forwarded the said representation to the Tahsildar on 21.01.2024 with a direction to conduct a detailed enquiry and to forward the feasibility report for exchanging of lands. Therefore, he sought eight weeks time to complete the aforesaid exercise.
5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
6. Since the second respondent has already forwarded the representation dated 21.09.2023 to the Tahsildar with regard to 3/6
conducting of survey and to forward the feasibility report in respect of exchanging of petitioner's land, this Court directs the respondents to complete the entire exercise, in accordance with G.O.(Ms).No.201, Revenue Department, dated 10.05.2022, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
