This writ petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22/10/2024 and issue the transfer certificate to the petitioner's son Ruso, S/o.Amuldass studying 10th standard at Government Model Higher Secondary School, Pattukottai, Thanjavur District and also direct the fourth respondent to give admission to the petitioner's son to continue his 10th Standard in Government Higher Secondary School (men) Valangaimaan, Thiruvarur District.
2. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was married to Mr.Amuldass in the year 2005. Out of their wedlock, two male children were born. Due to difference of opinion, they got separated and custody of the children was given to the petitioner's husband. To her shock and surprise, on 15/8/2024, Ruso, elder son abandoned his paternal home and subsequently, approached the petitioner. At that time, he was studying X Standard in Government (Model) Higher Secondary School, Pattukottai. Since he fled from his father's place, petitioner had decided to join him in Government Model Higher Secondary School, Valangaiman. Hence, made a representation before the Head Master of the Government (Model) Higher Secondary School, Pattukottai for issuing Transfer certificate to her son, but the same was denied.

Thereafter, the petitioner had made a representation to the Headmaster Government Higher Secondary School (Men) Valangaiman for admission of his elder son in X Standard, but the Headmaster advised the petitioner to get the Transfer Certificate from Government Higher Secondary School, Pattukottai. Hence, the petitioner had again made a representation to the Headmaster Government Higher Secondary School, Pattukottai, for the issuance of Transfer Certificate. has come forward with the instant writ petition praying for the relief as stated supra.
5. Heard Mr.R.Subramanian, learned counsel for the petitioner.
6. Ms.Akila Rajendran, Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents. She produced a letter No.148 of 2024, dated 17/12/2024, of the Headmaster, Government (B) Higher Secondary School, Valangaiman, Thiruvarur District, wherein it is stated that admission for X Standard is already completed and the case of the petitioner will be considered on submission of Transfer Certificate.
7. Submission of the learned Government Advocate is recorded.
8. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that Board exams are coming up in the month of March 2025 and hence prays this Court to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22/10/2024 given to the third respondent.

9. Without going into the merits of the case, it would be suffice if a direction is given to the third respondent to consider the case of the petitioner will meet the ends of justice.
10. Accordingly, third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22/10/2024, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
11. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
