DATED : 23.09.2025

CORAM

THE HONOURABLE MR JUSTICE K.RAJASEKAR K.Thangavel ... Petitioner/A2 Vs.

The State rep. by The Inspector of Police, Vadavalli Police Station Coimbatore.

(Crime No.293 of 2024) ... Respondent PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest in Crime No.293 of 2024 pending investigation on the file of the respondent police.

For Petitioner : Mr.V.Muthupandi For Respondent : Mr.S.Udayakumar Government Advocate (Crl.Side) 1/4

ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 120B, 406, 420 and 506(1) of IPC, in Crime No.293 of 2024, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Earlier, the petitioner had moved a anticipatory bail petition before this Court in Crl.O.P.No.22665 of 2024 and the same was granted on 27.09.2024, with condition to appear before the respondent police. Without complying the conditions, now the present anticipatory petition is filed and it is not maintainable.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reported that earlier the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail by this Court but the petitioner unable to comply with the conditions.

4. Considering the above fact, I am of the view that, since the petitioner has not come forward to execute sureties as ordered in Crl.O.P.No.22665 of 2024, granting anticipatory bail is not permissible, however, the time is extended for the petitioner herein to comply with the conditions imposed in an earlier anticipatory bail petition.

5. Accordingly, time stipulated in para 6 of the earlier order in Crl.O.P.No.22665 of 2024 dated 27.09.2024 is extended by one week from the date of copy of this order made ready.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
