This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to provide electricity service connection to the petitioner's house based on the representation dated 06.08.2025 given by the petitioner within the time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.L.Jaivenkatesh, learned Standing Counsel takes notice on behalf of respondents 1 & 2.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner had addressed a representation dated 06.08.2025 to the 2nd respondent requesting to provide electricity service connection his house. However, the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

4. Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.08.2025 and pass appropriate orders on the same in accordance with law within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent submitted 2/4

that the petitioner's representation dated 06.08.2025 will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed on the same. 6.In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the 2ndrespondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.08.2025 for provision of electricity service connection and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as any other interested parties.

7. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
