This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation dated 13.11.2024 submitted by the petitioner and consequently, to take necessary action to fill up the 1 vacant seat (NRI lapsed quota) available in the Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital and 2 vacant seats (NRI lapsed quota + management quota) available in the Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital in the MBBS course for the academic year 2024-2025.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that as the second respondent has issued a notification for conducting special stray vacancy round of counselling, he requested this Court to permit him to withdraw this Petition and he also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. Recording the submissions and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
