This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner for issuance of patta in respect of the land in Nanja Old Survey No.19/5, T.S. No.19/5 measuring 05.50 Ares in No.36, Singalandhi Village, Tiruthuraipoondi Taluk, Tiruvarur District.

On instruction, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the request made by the petitioner has now been rejected.

In view of the above submission, no direction can be issued in this writ petition. As such, this writ petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is always at liberty to challenge the rejection order in the manner known to law.
