The petitioner herein/A1 was arrested on 15.02.2025 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(C), 29(1) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 in C.C.No.634 of 2025 on the file of the Special Judge, EC/NDPS Act Cases, Chennai. 1/4

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused were found in illegal possession of 24 Kgs of Ganja. Hence, the case.

3.This Court had dismissed the earlier bail petition filed by the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.21656 of 2025 dated 22.08.2025 on the ground that the all the accused persons were found in illegal possession of 24 kgs of Ganja, which is a commercial quantity and the statutory embargo under Section 37(1)(b) of the NDPS Act is triggered and since there is no change in circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 17.09.2025 smv 2/4
