The petitioners were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 17.08.2025, for the offences punishable under Sections 191(3), 286(b), 115(2), 118(1), 109 and 351(3) of BNS, in Crime No.479 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that due to previous enmity, the petitioners waylaid de facto complainant and quarreled with him. Later, the petitioner along with other accused, came to his house, abused and assaulted the de facto complainant and his family with hands, knife and wooden log, thereby caused injuries to them. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent persons and have been falsely implicated in this case. The petitioners are ready and willing to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioners.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and opposed the grant of bail to the petitioners on the ground that the petitioner has one previous case. He further submitted that the injured persons have been discharged from the 2/4

hospital.

5. Heard the learned counsels on either side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the gravity of the offences, number of persons injured and bad antecedents, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.

7. Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed. 26.09.2025 cda K.RAJASEKAR, J.
