A.No.6100 of 2024 P.B.BALAJI, J., This Application has been preferred by the Applicant to extend the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for a further period of six months from 19.10.2024 to complete the pending arbitration proceedings by passing an award under Section 31 read with Section 30 of the Act.

2. Heard Mr.P.H.Aravind Pandian, learned Senior Counsel for Mr.Harishankar Mani, learned counsel for the Applicant and Mrs.Jayalakshmi, learned counsel for M/s.Paul and Paul, for the respondent.

3. This is an Application seeking formal extension of the mandate of Arbitral Tribunal by a period of six months. It is also submitted that the parties are moving towards an amicable settlement and are likely to clinch the same in a short period of time.
