ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 21.08.2024 at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8 (c) r/w 20 (b) (ii) (B) of NDPS Act, 1985, in Crime No.669 of 2024 seeks bail. 2.This is the second bail petition. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 1.200 kgs of Cannabis. Hence, the case.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he is no way connected with the offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate Crl.side submitted that the petitioner was found in possession of 1.200 kgs of Cannabis and he is having twenty five previous cases. In this case, trial has commenced in C.C.No.886 of 2023. Therefore, if the petitioner is let out on bail, he will

commit another similar offence. In fact, the petitioner has committed three 302 I.P.C cases. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and there is no change in circumstances of the case, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
