Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing to the respondents to issue patta as per legal heir certificate dated 27.6.2018 Pa Mu(A2) 11882018 by considering petitioners representation dated 24.7.2023, 14.11.2024 as per law within time limitation.

The writ petition is field for the following reliefs:- "directing to the respondents to issue patta as per legal heir certificate dated 27.06.2018 Pa Mu(A2) 1188-2018 by considering petitioner's representations dated 24.07.2023 and 14.11.2024 as per law within time limitation."

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the subject property was purchased by the petitioner's grandfather under a registered sale deed dated 11.08.1959 from Adimoolakonar and his family members. Her grandfather was in possession and enjoyment of this property till his death and thereafter the property was devolved on his son, the father of the petitioner, Rangasamy. After the death of the said Rangasamy, the petitioner, her sisters Rajamani, Alamelu, Sumathi and brother Venketasan inherited the subject property.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that she had submitted an application on 24.07.2023 to the respondents to issue patta as per legal heir certificate dated 27.06.2018. However, the said application has not been considered to date. Thereafter, the petitioner had also sent a representation dated 14.11.2024 to the respondents. As it did not 2/5

evoke any response, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Heard the counsels on either side.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the representations made by the petitioner on 24.07.2023 and 14.11.2024 have not been considered to date, a mandamus is issued directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 24.07.2023 and 14.11.2024 for grant of patta and dispose of the same within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above observations, the Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
