ORDER
This petition has been filed to direct the respondents police not to harass the petitioner in the name of investigation on the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Thambaram.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that due to family dispute, the petitioner and her husband are living separately and already the petitioner has filed a petition under Section 125 of Cr.P.C seeking maintenance against her husband before the Judicial Magistrate, Tambaram in M.C.No.75 of 2019 and the same is still pending. He further submitted that since the petitioner's husband is working under the second respondent (The Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Thambaram), https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
he influenced the second respondent and in pursuance of the same, the second respondent is compelling the petitioner to come to the police station daily and harassing her unnecessarily.
3. Considering the aforesaid submissions, if any complaint is received from the husband of the petitioner, the second respondent has to conduct enquiry only with the husband of the petitioner and if the said enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, she has to register a case and proceed further in accordance with law and instead of that she should not unnecessarily harass the petitioner.
4. With the aforesaid directions, this petition is disposed of.
