O R D E R
Mr.R.P.Muruganraja, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition is taken up and disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition has been filed directing the respondents 2 and 3 to consider and to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 21.10.2024 to cancel the unilateral reduction of extent of 0.03.50 Hec. in Patta No.1579, comprised in S.No.356/10A2A and 356/10A2B and to issue patta for entire extent of 0.11.50 Hec. situated at Kandamanadi Village, 2/6
Villupuram Taluk and District, in the name of Petitioner within a reasonable time frame fixed by this Court.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner purchased the property measuring an extent of 6370 Sq.ft. comprised in S.No.356/10A2A and 6162 Sq.ft. comprising in S.No.356/10A2B through sale deed in Doc.Nos.2342/2020 and 2343/2020 dated 08.07.2020 respectively. The 3rd respondent has also issued patta in his name to the total extent of 0.11.50 Hectares vide patta No.1579. Further, he would submit that acquisition proceedings were initiated for the purpose of road expansion, in which the petitioner's land was not acquired. Despite the same, the 3rd respondent without serving notice to the petitioner and without providing opportunity to the petitioner has unilaterally reduced the extent of 0.03.50 Hectares and modified the patta No.1579 for extent of 0.08.0 Hectares. In this regard the petitioner submitted a representation to the 1st respondent on 21.10.2024 and the said authority has forwarded the representation to the 2nd respondent for appropriate action. Thereafter on 19.02.2025, the 1st respondent instructed the 3rd respondent to consider the 3/6
petitioner's representation and to correct the extent in Patta No.1579. Since the respondents 2 and 3 have not taken any action, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondent concerned would consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation within a time frame fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also upon the submissions made, this Court directs the respondent concerned to pass orders on the representation filed by the petitioner dated 21.10.2024 on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and also affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as to any of the interested parties within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.

6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
