This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to file a Final Report in Crime No.8 of 2019 pending on the file of the second respondent/inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Villupuram District.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that though the respondents have registered a case in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the above said crime number on 02.04.2019, no final report is filed till date.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the respondents police may be permitted to file a final report as early as possible. 5.In view of the above, the second respondent police is directed to investigate the matter diligently and effectively and file a final report as early as possible. 6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
