ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to direct the respondents herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.07.2025 and delete the duplicate entry in the Encumbrance Certificate reflecting Document No.3444 of 1999 dated 13.08.1999, relating to the petitioner's property land comprised in S.No.170/8, measuring an extent of 14 cents situated at Thiruvanmiyur Village, Mylapore - Triplicane Taluk, within the then Registration District of South Madras and Sub Registration District, Saidapet.

2.The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the petitioner made a representation dated 10.07.2025 before the respondents requesting them to remove the duplicate entry reflecting Document No.3444 of 1999 dated 13.08.1999 in the Encumbrance Certificate. However, the same has not been considered by the respondents so far.

3.Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 10.07.2025, will be considered and disposed of within a period of eight weeks. 4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 5.Considering the submission made by both the parties and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.07.2025 and dispose of the same on merits and in

accordance with law, after issuing notice to the parties concerned, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above said direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
