ORDER
The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to survey and fence the land along with the police protection situated in S.Nos.136/13A2, 136/13B2, 142/3C2, 142/3D2, 142/3E1A, 136/13A1, 136/13B1, 141/2, 142/1A, 142/3B3, 142/3D1, 142/3F2, 142/3F1, 142/5A2, 142/5B1, 142/5A1, 142/2H, 142/2J, 142/2I1, 142/3A, 142/3B1B situated in Uthamacholapuram Village, Vazhapadi Taluk, Salem District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 26.08.2025.
2. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the first respondent. Mr.L.Baskaran, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) takes notice on behalf of second respondent. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the property comprised in 2/6
S.Nos.136/13A2, 136/13B2, 142/3C2, 142/3D2, 142/3E1A, 136/13A1, 136/13B1, 141/2, 142/1A, 142/3B3, 142/3D1, 142/3F2, 142/3F1, 142/5A2, 142/5B1, 142/5A1, 142/2H, 142/2J, 142/2I1, 142/3A, 142/3B1B situated at Uthamacholapuram Village, Vazhapadi Taluk, Salem District belongs to petitioner and his friend. This being so, some neighbouring individuals are trying to fence the petitioner's land without any title or valid rights. Therefore, the petitioner made an online application to survey and measure the aforesaid lands along with relevant documents and requisite fee. However, the same was not conducted by the first respondent. Thus, the petitioner sent a representation dated 26.08.2025 to the first respondent, to conduct survey and fence the land in respect of the aforementioned property. He has also lodged a compliant before the second respondent. However, till date, no orders was passed by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.
4. Though many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's 3/6
representation dated 26.08.2025 to survey and fence the land in respect of aforesaid property.
5. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 26.08.2025 would be considered and appropriate orders passed, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
6. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited relief sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to conduct a survey and fence the land, in respect of aforesaid petitioner's property, after giving due notice and opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as aggrieved persons, if any, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to say, in case of any obstruction being created by third parties, the first respondent is at liberty to 4/6
approach the second respondent/Police officials, in which case, the second respondent/Police officials shall render assistance to the first respondent to carry out the aforesaid exercise.
8. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
