ORDER

The petitioner seeks for Mandamus directing the 3rd and 4th respondents to measure the land at Survey No.91/1 in Kadali Village, Melmalayanur Taluk, Villupuram District and issue Patta https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

for an extent of 4.48 acres out of 10.81 acres in the petitioner's name based on his representations dated 24.07.2017 and 27.07.2017.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said representations were not considered so far.

3. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the 3rd and 4th respondents to consider and decide. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of only by directing the 3rd and 4th respondents to consider the representations of petitioner dated 24.07.2017 and 27.07.2017 and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner, the 5th respondent and the other parties, if any, interested. Such exercise shall be done by the 3rd and 4th respondents, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
