The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 24.06.2025, for the offences punishable under Sections 331(3), 305(a) of BNS, in Crime No.370 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 21.06.2025 at about 8.30 a.m., the de facto complainant kept Rs.1,70,000/- in the almirah at his house and left for work. Around 11.30 a.m., his relative one Sulochana informed him that an unknown person was seen running from his house. On his return at 2.00 p.m., he found the cash missing. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case . He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioner has 26 previous cases. Hence, he strongly opposed the grant of bail.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. 2/4

6. Considering the gravity of the offences, no property is recovered and bad antecedents, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
