ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking direction to the first respondent to consider the passport application of the petitioner in Reference No MA1075729557123, dated 30.08.2023.

2. Mr.A.Prakash, learned Additional Central Government Standing Counsel takes notice for the first respondent.

3. Mr.L.Baskaran, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) takes notice for the second respondent.

4. Mr.A.Prakash, who takes notice for the first respondent would submit that the passport application in Reference No.

MA1075729557123, dated 30.08.2023 was submitted by one Vijayakumar Arivazhagan and not by the petitioner and therefore, the writ petition is not maintainable.

5. Mr.L.Baskaran, who takes notice for the second respondent would submit that the writ petitioner and the applicant in Reference No MA1075729557123, dated 30.08.2023 are brothers and the petitioner herein is not the applicant in the said Reference No.

6. In view of the fact that the petitioner has not applied for Passport in Reference No MA1075729557123, dated 30.08.2023, the writ petition filed by him cannot be entertained.

7. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
