Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the Memorandum of Grounds in Crl.A.No.871 of 2019 on the file of the High Court, the High Court will be pleased to suspend the sentence passed in C.C.No.6/2006 dated 28.11.2019 on the file of 2nd Additional District Court for CBI Cases, Coimbatore pending disposal of the Crl.A.No.871 of 2019.
Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the Memorandum of Grounds in Crl.A.No.871 of 2019 on the file of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.G.MANIPRABHU, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S K.SRINICASAN SPECIAL PUBLIC PROSECUTOR on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- Vide order dated 12.12.2019, while granting bail, this Court imposed condition to deposit a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- within a period of of four weeks to the credit of C.C.No.6 of 2006 on the file of the learned II Additional District Judge for CBI cases, Coimbatore.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented that the order dated 12.12.2019 has been complied with and also a proof for payment is produced to that effect.
3. The II Additional District Judge for CBI cases, Coimbatore is directed to deposit the entire amount lying in credit of C.C.No. 6 of 2006 with the Canara Bank, Nerkundram Branch, Chennai, in an interest bearing deposit initially for a period of two years and to keep it renewed periodically till the disposal of the case. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
