O R D E R

The Petitioner/wife, who is residing at Puducherry, has come up with this Petition seeking transfer of H.M.O.P.No.4363 of 2019 from the file of the IV Additional Family Court, Chennai, to the file of the Family Court, Pondicherry.

2. According to the Petitioner, it would be difficult for her to travel all the way from Puducherry to attend the hearings in H.M.O.P.No.4363 of 2019 pending on the file of the IV Additional Family Court, Chennai.

Learned counsel appearing for the Respondent fairly submitted that, that the Respondent/husband has no objection for transfer of the proceedings in H.M.O.P.No.4363 of 2019 to the Family Court at Pondicherry, as she is pursuing Post-Graduation in Medicine. However, he submitted that, it cannot be construed that the allegations made by the Petitioner against the Respondent, are true.

It is further submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the Respondent that the proceedings in H.M.O.P.No.4363 of 2019 may be directed to be disposed of at the earliest point of time, as the services of both the Petitioner and the Respondent, who are Doctors, are required for the public. In view of the above, the proceedings in H.M.O.P.No.4363 of 2019 is transferred from the file of the IV Additional Family Court, Chennai, to the file of the Family Court, Pondicherry. The Family Court, Pondicherry is expected to conclude the trial, as expeditiously as possible, without adjourning the matter beyond three weeks at any point of time, to bring the issue to a logical end.

6. The Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is ordered accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected C.M.P.No.26773 of 2019 is closed.
