This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 praying to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner shall make a Non-Refundable Deposit Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Only) to the credit of Adyar Cancer Institute (WIA), East Canal Bank Road, Adyar, Chennai by way of Demand Draft as this Court in Crl.R.C.No.1586 of 2025 Order dated 29.08.2025.

ORDER

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to modify the condition imposed on him by this Court vide Order dated 29.08.2025 in Crl.R.C.No.1586 of 2025 that the petitioner shall make a Non-Refundable Deposit Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Only) to the credit of Adyar Cancer Institute (WIA), East Canal Bank Road, Adyar, Chennai by way of Demand Draft.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police.

3. Considering the reasons stated by the petitioner in this petition, I am inclined to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner by this Court vide Order dated 29.08.2025 in Crl.R.C.No.1586 of 2025 that the petitioner shall make a Non-Refundable Deposit Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Only) to the credit of Adyar Cancer Institute (WIA), East Canal Bank Road, Adyar, Chennai by way of Demand Draft.

4. Accordingly, the aforesaid condition is modified as follows: "The petitioner shall make a Non-Refundable Deposit of Rs.75,000/- (Rupees Seventy Five Thousand Only) to the credit of Tamil Nadu Advocates' Clerk Association, Madras High Court, Chennai - 600 104 by way of Demand Draft, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
