O R D E R

By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.11.2024 seeking electricity service connection for the Vegetable Shop of the Petitioner-Trust without insisting 'No Objection Certificate'.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he is a Managing Trustee of 2/5

Purity Virtues Charitable Trust and he has been running a Vegetable Shop in Kamarajar Nagar, Opposite to the Lake, Perungudi, Chennai-600096. The petitioner applied for electricity service connection in respect of the Vegetable Shop run by him through a representation dated 10.11.2024 and the said representation has not been considered by the respondents till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Mr.L.Jaivenkatesh, learned Standing Counsel (TNEB), who is taking notice for the respondents, would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 10.11.2024 will be considered by the 3rd respondent on its own merits and in accordance with law, within the time fixed by this Court.

5. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.11.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
