ORDER
This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.08.2024.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's family owns agricultural land in Survey No.1103/3, Thiruvallur District and has been using the only available pathway for access to the said land for over 30 years without any hindrance. He further submitted that the said pathway, situated in Survey No.1105, has been continuously used for agricultural purposes, including movement of tractors and implements. However, the first respondent has now obstructed the said pathway, thereby preventing the petitioner from accessing and cultivating the land. Hence, the petitioner had made a representation dated 19.08.2024 requesting permission for continued usage of the pathway. However, no action has been taken by the respondents so far. Hence, this writ petition.
3. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 19.08.2024 will be considered within a period of 12 weeks.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
5. Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 19.08.2024, after issuing due notice and affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
