This application has been filed seeking leave to sue the respondent under Clause 12 of the Letters Patent.

2.The applicant is aggrieved by the disparaging advertisement published by the respondent.

3.As seen from the plaint averments and from the affidavit filed in support of this application, the disparaging advertisement has been published in Chennai as well, which is within the jurisdiction of this Court. 4.Since a part of cause of action has arisen at Chennai, this Court is granting leave to sue as prayed for. Accordingly, this application is allowed as prayed for.
